Brand Promotion
We can place your logo or company name on a number of materials, essentially turning your brand into personalized art.
Keepsakes/Gifts
Surprise that special someone with a picture permanently engraved on on wood, tile or that beautiful stone you found at the coast.
Material Selection
There is a huge list of materials that can be manipulated using a Co2 laser. Most are harmless, but a few are very bad for both the equipment and the person operating it. Those items will not be listed as options, and we avoid burning them in general. We do gladly subject the following materials to the mercy of the photon with a smile on our face:
Woods
Bamboo, Poplar, Pine, Oak, Ash, Cherry, Birch... Wood is a great medium for the laser.
Pros: excepts light surface marking for photos, or deep engravings for insetting of ink or other materials. Able to cut through most types. Many options of wood type.
Cons: Many options of wood types, wood grain and consistency, differences between hard woods and soft woods often leads to unpredictable results.
Acrylics
Cast or Extruded, either one is wonderful to use and generates awesome results.
Pros: Easy to work with, adds that extra something when edge lit, available in a plethora of colors and thickness. being able to cut through it allows for custom panel covers, or switch boards.
Cons: costly, limited local supply
Ceramic
Surprising results, currently my favorite.
Pros: Norton white Tile process very predictable, lasting results. optionally you can mask and spray paint to achieve any color design.
Cons: NWT is limited to color and saturation. Mask and spray is only a surface application and isnt as durable, painted surface.
Painted Surfaces
Using the laser to etch out custom masking/stenciling directly on an item opens up a world of possibilities for roll of painters tape and some spray paint. This will also work on anodized surfaces,
